Classic Christmas is the eagerly anticipated third studio album by the British pop and opera singer Joe McElderry who won the sixth series of the reality television talent show The X Factor in 2009. The album is a collection of festive favourites all done with a more modernised and contemporary twist with the aid of Joe's magnificent singing voice and vocal range as he breathes new life in to classic Christmas songs such as Little Drummer Boy Silent Night and Mary's Boy Child. Featured on this record is the lead single Last Christmas which was originally released by the iconic British pop duo Wham! in the 1980s and to which Joe does complete justice giving a brilliant new take and putting his own signature stamp on a song everyone knows making it his own.
