Join Coyote and his friends on a Western Trail through the New Forest National Park. Beginner riders are welcome on this 2 hour trail which rounds off back at the ranch with a sizzling ‘Chicken n Steak’ BBQ ‘Boston Beans’ and tall tales of your trail into the ‘wild blue yonder’. Then it’s off across the New Forest riding over the heathland amongst the wild forest ponies and cattle before heading into the woodlands where you may be lucky and spot one of the many herds of wild deer. Meanwhile the BBQ’s a cookin’ so there’s plenty of hot food soft drinks and hot coffee awaitin’ yer return. You don't have to be a ‘John Wayne’ to trail ride...most of our riders have never been on horses before. So there’s no excuse…’Get yer jeans on and ride the range’! Minimum age: 12 years Minimum height: N/A Maximum height: N/A Maximum Weight: 15 stone Fitness/Health: The experience is unsuitable during pregnancy. It may also be unsuitable with some disabilities so please check with the stables before booking. If you have any medical conditions which may affect your ability to carry out this experience you must discuss it when making your booking. This experience takes place on selected dates throughout the year. They are mainly at weekends in the morning afternoon and some evenings. The trail is not suitable for spectators but friends and family can meet up with you for the BBQ. Please Note - The BBQ is not included in this experience between November and the end of March. Dress Code: For riding you must wear full length trousers and sturdy shoes or boots with a heel of around 2 to 4cm. You must also have your shoulders covered.
